Yoga

Bend, stretch, connect, flow and breathe: yoga is one of the best ways to restore the mind and body to health. With a wide range of styles suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced yogis, Yoga at THE WORKS is an invigorating and satisfying way to bring movement and mindfulness into your life.

Hatha

This form of yoga concentrates on your physical health and mental wellbeing. Hatha uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) to bring about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. The postures work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues.

Yin

Using props to remove muscle tension, Yin Yoga focuses on the deeper tissues of the body – strengthening, stretching and stimulating to encourage more flexibility and freedom of movement while releasing deep tension of the body and relaxing the nervous system. Yin is a restorative style of yoga that reduces stress while stimulating regeneration.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa is the Sanskirt word for flow. Vinyasa or Flow Yoga is an invigorating Hatha yoga practice that links breath (prana) with movement and postures (asanas). Our classes are accompanied by music to support and inspire your flow. Dynamic classes, Vinyasa will keep your mind focused and captivated.

Restorative

This is a gentle yoga class that works slowly, giving you the chance to restore your mind and body. The aim is to return balance to who you are in physical and non-physical ways. During this class you will gently move your body, connect with your breath, relax and meditate.
